But this was simply the starting point of our fam trip that we created and organized by selecting high profile buyers that were chosen to travel with us around Basilicata and Puglia.

The following morning our host, Enza, owner, together with her husband of a worldwide famous company specialized in the restauration of churches and archelogical sites, took us to discover a Crypt in a village in Basilicata where her amazing staff was working to bring back to life frescoes dating back to centuries.
We were the first and only ones allowed to step into the site and admire what other people will see only in the years to come.
The experience and the exclusivity to be the first ones, to be among the happy few that could breath in this atmosphere were beyond words and everybody felt grateful for this opportunity.
Then off we went to the one of a kind HOTEL PATRIA PALACE www.patriapalce.com, in Lecce, the Venice of the South of Italy, where the spectacular location of the building, facing the Cathedral Santa Croce, was surpassed only by the beauty and luxury details of the suites and the impeccable service that made our stay an experience within the experience.
On that night, we found out, it was our host’s birthday party and the 4 courses dinner cooked by Ivan the young and super talented chef, became a lively and lovely dinner party where the porcini mushrooms risotto and the fish and cheese pasticciotto delighted our taste buds beyond measure.
After dinner… the experience of the Santa Croce Cathedral opened only for us that took us from darkness to light… the most spectacular spots of the cathedral.
Feelings, emotions, music, darkness, light and then the glorious lighting of the whole vaults that exploded like a fire making everybody speechless.
The silence that followed after this communicated more than millions of words… we were all amazed by such a beauty.
Lecce and Patria Palace Hotel conquered all of us and the sadness of the following morning, on leaving the place, was evident.
It was then time for Bari, its ancient city and its street food where Carmela and its sgagliozze made with fried polenta and the panzerotti and focaccia and cartellate, a surprising little cake made with fig syrup, made our walk and our dinner among the festive atmosphere really pleasant.
